Durning holiday season, we wanted shoppers to take a sense of pride in, and unite around, their favorite small businesses. We encouraged them to show off their small businesses in their area by finding and sharing the best holiday gifts, treats and services.
This uniting initiative will celebrate small businesses’ unique takes on the holidays that make their community feel special.

To kick off the campaign, we showcased some of the one-of-a-kind gifts that small businesses offer and asked consumers
to shop, tag and share the best gifts from their local shops.
Each week, we asked users to share the best shops and gifts from various holiday-related categories.
The holidays are a BIG deal for small businesses’ annual income. A big deal that, during COVID, went from a boost in sales to a last bastion of hope.
So, to rally support for small businesses across the country, Small Unites (a Capital One-funded program) asked Americans to show off the
absolute best gifts their hometown has to offer.
